Texas Security General Insurance Agency, Inc. (TSGA), San Antonio, Texas, is a managing general insurance agency in the state of Texas founded by H. Dale White in 1995 with the capital support of Aegis Security Insurance Co. TSGA started with simply a dwelling fire and mobile home product. Tom Contreras became a partner in 2000 as he and Dale purchased Aegis’ remaining stock. Tom then became 100% stockholder of TSGA in 2003 and remains President & Chief Executive Officer.
Over the years TSGA has grown from a company offering two products to one offering a multitude of personal lines homeowners, dwelling fire and mobile home markets. Further, in February 2007, TSGA expanded into the commercial lines business with its capital investment in Emerald Surplus Lines, Inc. Emerald is a specialty commercial general agency providing competitive markets for commercial property, liability and inland marine products.
